Seeking a Java Developer in Englewood, CO for a Direct-Hire, Permanent, and Benefited opportunity.
The Java Developer position will design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Java technologies. Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs. Interact with other team members to contribute to and review functional specifications and test cases. Contribute to advancing the team’s design methodology and quality programming practices.
The Java Developer should have extensive experience with detailed design, performing and monitoring coding development, report generation, unit testing and system and integration testing of applications. Experience in both database-driven and web-based applications in Java.
The successful candidate will have the following relevant skills and experience:
Ø Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems.
Ø 5+ years of experience in Java software development environments.
Ø 8+ years of experience in Java and MS databases on Windows platforms.
Ø Java/JSp and HTML development experience
Ø J2EE UI framework
Ø 5+ years of experience with SQL/PLSQL
Ø Experience with JavaScript, XML, DHTML, XSL, IIS, and SQL
Ø Knowledge of Oracle Application Server 9i & 10g
Ø Knowledge of Linux and/or Unix operating systems.
Ø Strong understanding of technologies and product suites commonly used in technology solutions.
Ø Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ø High initiative and self-motivated
Ø Must be able to communicate problems and solutions effectively at all levels within the organization.
Ø Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Ø Strong attention to detail.
Ø Good knowledge of relational databases and mySQL and MS SQL Server.
