The work environment is a highly automated packaging area. The client packs everything from small cartons to 50+ pound bags in both paper and poly woven bags, all on highly automated equipment. There are many PLC's, VFD's, motor controls, pneumatic and vacuum devices, complex hydraulic systems, an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (automated warehouse). Besides all of the automation there are a lot of belt and roller conveyors to maintain.

If interested in this position, you should be a well rounded electro-mechanical technician, experienced with 480v 3-phase electrical systems (power distribution systems, motor starters and control circuits, PLC's, VFD's and the associated field devices).

You should also be able to do welding and fabrication.

This position will require a Drug, Misdemeanor and Felony Background Check, as well as a Physical.

Hours may either be a weekend warrior (where you work three 12 hour shifts but are paid for 40 hours), or Monday-Friday. Flexibility in terms of days and shifts is crucial.
